Oliva’s history dates back to pre-Cuban War of Independence when Melanio Oliva started growing his own tobacco in 1886. The company is still family owned and operated and in the 1960’s moved to the beautiful country of Nicaragua. Since then, they have had several lines and highly rated cigars; with the Serie V Melanio receiving a 96 point rating and being named #1 Cigar of 2014 by Cigar Aficionado.
Oliva Serie G cigars feature an African Cameroon wrapper that highlights this unique-tasting and affordably-priced selection presented in mostly box-pressed shapes. Each cigar is skillfully handmade with a medium-bodied blend of Nicaraguan Habano long fillers and binders that are carefully selected to complement the rich flavor and aroma of the specially-aged wrapper.
